17/09/2007 Charlotte White - Tremor I
Tremor I is an unedited recording of an interaction with an early-stage sculpture whose constituent parts were already physically interacting. The use of contact microphones provides another kind of access to the interaction revealing elements of objects already familiar to us in another space.

Charlotte White is an artist based in Brighton, UK working predominantly with sound. Her work is concerned with varying degrees of so-called randomness and unpredictability, deriving originally from a questioning of how and why we make the decisions we do.

Her 8-channel sound installation Eternally Unfinished Attempt to Grasp Everything as it Happens (in only one language) has been exhibited in solo shows at the Red Gallery - Hull, the Bargate Monument Gallery - Southampton. Artcity - Calgary, Canada and Full Circle - Phoenix Gallery, Brighton.
